Laurel Cats runs a fostering and adoption program through our inhome foster network, partnership with the Laurel Petco, and partnership with Maryland-based Last Chance Animal Rescue, Inc. Friendly cats and young kittens found on our streets are fostered at home by Laurel Cats volunteers and then adopted through our social media marketing, Petco program or Last Chance at PetSmart.
Please contact us if you would like to become a foster. Fostering is generally about a four to eight week week commitment. Fostering kittens requires some time and TLC with lots of purrs and snuggles as rewards. We will provide you with a cage to keep the kittens separate from others cats or dogs in your house.
Becoming a Petco or PetSmart volunteer requires a reliable weekly commitment. You can apply through the volunteer application. If you have any questions, contact us at info@laurelcats.org.
