Fostering and Adoption

Laurel Cats runs a fostering and adoption program through our partnership with Maryland-based Last Chance Animal Rescue, Inc. Friendly cats and young kittens found on our streets are fostered at home by Laurel Cats volunteers and then adopted through Last Chance at PetSmart. In exchange for being able to adopt cats through Last Chance and PetSmart at this excellent venue, Laurel Cats volunteers provide daily care for the cats at the Laurel PetSmart for the duration of their stay.

Please contact us if you would like to become a foster. Fostering is generally abut a four week week commitment. Fostering kittens requires some time and TLC with lots of purrs and snuggles as rewards. We will provide you with a cage to keep the kittens separate from others cats or dogs in your house.

Becoming a PetSmart volunteer requires a reliable weekly commitment. Drop us a note if you might be interested in volunteering for such.
